The Ethereum Mainnet launches the Dencun update.
Dencun,The Ethereum network recently saw the largest update since the Merge.
The Dencun update was successfully deployed on the Ethereum mainnet on March 13 at 1:55 PM UTC.
With its promise to drastically lower layer-2 network transaction fees and improve Ethereum’s overall scalability, Dencun is the most anticipated hard fork since the Merge.
According to Tezos blockchain co-founder Arthur Breitman, while the Dencun improvement is a positive move, it won’t completely solve all of the problems with layer-2 solutions. He stated to Cointelegraph that:
